A physical theatre about anger for all as age of 4, for Schauburg München
Ceren Oran was awarded the German theatre prize DER FAUST 2025 in the category "Direction Theatre for Young Audiences".

Stop. This far and no further. I see red. A red line. Step in front of it? Step on it? Step over it? Over it. Now it all feels chaotic. It's becoming stormy and vast. What is this? A feeling? That must be it, it's there: the anger. The anger is raging and sometimes unsettling, but it feels good. It shows me the way, and I'm taking you with me: Here's my line, this is where it ends. You can step in front of it, sometimes on it, but not over it, please be careful. This is my boundary, where's yours?
Ceren Oran was born in Istanbul, studied contemporary dance at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, and has since worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer, and sound painter. Her work for young audiences is presented nationally and internationally at prominent stages and festivals. She is a recipient of the City of Munich's 2022 TANZ Advancement Award. In the 2024/25 season, she will be working at the Schauburg for the first time. Together with the players of the ensemble, she will develop a movement theatre that combines elements of contemporary dance with those of drama and deals with one's own and others' boundaries, the negotiation of rules and anger as a guide.

"In every sequence of this production, the ensemble's joy in playing is palpable, and this is transmitted to the audience, both young and old. A great lightness shimmers over this performance: the Schauburg team can be pleased with an all-round successful choreographic work that - it is easy to predict - will remain in the repertoire for a long time to come." Die Deutsche Bühne.
“(…) And, as the anger affects the faces, it becomes even more vivid. The inside becomes tangible, it is turned outwards - the metaphor works brilliantly in this forty -minute, playfully dense and cleverly staged choreography. The movement creates images that are easily understood by both young and old.
Gute Wut is the first collaboration between Ceren Oran and Schauburg Munich. The four ensemble members prove that they can get a detailed choreography into their heads and bodies and bring everything to a wonderful point through dancing.” Abend Zeitung
“Overall, "Gute Wut" is an inspiring, emotional examination of one of the most complex human feelings that makes it understand in a new, deeper way.
How anger can be converted into optimism, the cheers after the premiere "Gute Wut" on Saturday provided the best example: applause for choreographer Ceren Oran with David Campling, Janosch Fries, Lucia Schierenbeck and Annelie Straub. “ Tanznetz
